Who we are
This policy explains how The Alliance for Organ Donor Incentives ("we") handles personal information on the organdonorincentives.org website. The Alliance for Organ Donor Incentives is responsible for this information (the "controller" or "database owner").

You are not legally required to give us this information — it is your choice. If you don't, we simply won't be able to do what the form is for (for example, reply to you).
Like every website, our hosting provider automatically receives technical information when you visit (IP address, browser and device type, pages requested, date and time). It is used to deliver the site, keep it secure and fix problems.
Service providers we use
We share information only with the service providers below, and only as needed for the purpose described. Each has its own privacy policy:
- Base44 (Wix.com) – Hosts this website, its images and the petition database. When you load a page, the hosting servers receive technical data such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. The site also asks Base44 to count which pages are visited (the page name only), without advertising or tracking cookies. (privacy policy)
- PayPal – Donations are made on PayPal's own website, not on this site. Anything you enter there is handled under PayPal's privacy policy, and PayPal shares the details of your donation with us as the recipient. (privacy policy)
We do not sell or rent personal information.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Cookies and local storage
The site itself does not use advertising or tracking cookies. It saves a few settings in your browser, and loads third-party content only with your permission:

How long we keep information
Petition signatures (the private record and the public name) are kept until the Alliance deletes them. You can ask us at any time to delete your signature, and we will remove both records. Other information is kept only as long as needed for the purpose it was given for, or as required by law.
Your rights
Under Israel's Privacy Protection Law you may ask to see the information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete information that is inaccurate, incomplete, unclear or out of date. You may also complain to the Privacy Protection Authority.
If you are in the European Union or the UK, you also have the right to erasure, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting earlier processing), and to complain to your local data protection authority.
If you are in the United States, depending on your state you may have rights to know, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. We will not treat you differently for using them.

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold. No website or internet transmission is completely secure, so please avoid sending sensitive information (such as health or payment details) by message or email.

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top.
